Everything lasts. But there is a beauty in every ending. You can gain, you can learn. Lessons you learned are ready to be practiced. Another journey has ended and it's the start of a new journey with harder and tougher challenges. We just got into our destination. Grade 10, it was a nice ride. I am so grateful to learn new things about Photoshop. In our section, we are truly enjoying, we are having fun gaining new knowledge in our subject ICT 10. But, we can't deny the fact that we are struggling sometimes in editing pictures. Challenges goes harder and harder when you go farther. During fourth grading period, I got some challenges. First is self-doubt and how can I managed it. So, to lighten my mind and soul, I motivated myself by the saying "If others can, I can do it also". I made it! I just have to gain confidence in order to proceed. Another challenge is that I easily lost my focus especially when my phone is just placed right next to me. ICT, I truly thank you because you made us happy. We, Martinelli, enjoyed what is in you. Your lessons made us the better version of ourselves. It may need more time to get to know more about you but our time has limit. We thank you for the happiness you gave on us while learning something. We promise that we will not forget what you taught us; this can be a lesson in school or lesson in life. The knowledge you gave on us is appreciated. Moving on, I will use the things that I’ve learned to develop a better practice. I will share the knowledge and wisdom that I gained in this subject.

Plan

Aspiration. Ambition. Ideal. Everyone dreams because it serves as their inspiration towards their future. Dreams come true thru determination and hardwork. Don't call it a dream, call it a plan. Don't give up what you are today. Keep on getting better as long as you have your hope, dreams and determination in focus. Everyone has a dream. Life is formed from our little dreams. There is no such thing that is more beautiful than creating a dream. Do not live without plans and dreams in life because it will lead you to nowhere. Every person has a unique dream that wants to get or reach in life, because of these, we struggle in any kind of field in order to pursue them. Even young children also have their desired goals. Dreams will serve as our inspiration. We became more determined and steady if there is a storm coming into our lives. I have a lot of dreams in life and one of these is to become a successful doctor. I know that I'm going to have a hard time in pursuing this profession but I think it will make me feel that all of the hardworks I put in making this dream come true will be worth it. I will be myself in doing this goal. I am determined, hardworking and a positive thinker. As a positive thinker, I know that I can do this. I can do this because I have God with me. I believe I can so I will. This is Kyla Claire Reclusado, aiming to be a successful doctor someday.

Celebration

The darkness fades and then I awake. It's 7:00 in the morning and everyone is calling. I have to hurry because it is an exciting day. The day will be fulfilled with happiness and so with me. It's Saturday but I am going to school, not to have classes but to enjoy and gain memories. 117th Foundation Day of Ilocos Sur National High School, it is the most awaited day of the students and teachers of the said school. As the High School Day arrives, everyone is enveloped with excitement and worry. Normally the program starts with a parade where the students and all teachers participated. After some hours, the parade is done. Students were tired yet they had fun. The event resumed at one o'clock in the afternoon and they started with an opening remarks from the school principal and the inspiring talks from the great guest speaker. After some times, it's the time for the students to show what they got, to show their talents. All grade levels practiced a dance production with the help of MAPEH teachers. Even teachers from different departments made a dance production to join the field demonstration. This is a special day and most busiest occasion celebrated in school. Where the entire school family joined the said parade and to perform their field demonstration. There is a great deal of fun activities such as the coronation of the Mr. and Ms. ISNHS, performing of field demonstration of each grade level, boundless excitements and anticipation that awaits the students for the event. Long time are done to master their field demonstration to be presented for the visitors. The highlight of the event is the Field Demonstration. The activities are commenced and winners are announce afterwards. Parents joined the celebration to watch their children in performing their dance production in the field demonstration.

201st year of Ilokanos

The 22 towns of the province marked the festivity. The festivity that features the heritage culture of the province which dates back two centuries ago. Kannawidan is an Ilocano term meaning feast of rich heritage and culture. Ilocos Sur is a province that has a  very rich culture and heritage. Kannawidan means traditions and this province got to showcase all what she has. They displayed their talents as well as their indigenous costumes.

To show how aspects of the culture of the people of Ilocos Sur have evolved through the years, the festival offers  these activities to the new generation:  dance craze, battle of the bands, Mr. Kannawidan muscle showdown, Search for Saniata, car and motorcycle show, horse racing, chef wars, rodeo fiesta, game fowl and pigeon expo, rhythm festival, 3rd Gov Ryan Singson Motocross Cup, Kannawidan Mini Fwd Race, karambola, and drag race, and street dancing and showdown that show off the one-town-one-products (OTOP) of the 34 towns and cities of the province. It is presented by world-class performers showcasing the Beauty of the  Ilocos Sur through dances, music, and sounds. Spectators are clapping with joy because of their great performances, graceful movements, and excellent rendition of songs while playing native musical instruments.

As a proud Ilokano, I am expecting more fun activities for the coming years. This Kannawidan 2019 celebration brought happiness to Ilokanos. Being an Ilokano is surely to be proud of. It was a fun-filled weeks of celebration of the Kannawidan Festival in Ilocos Sur.

Change yourself first.

   "Don’t waste your time chasing butterflies. Mend your garden and the butterflies will come." – Mario Quintana. They say change is the only permanent in this world. By changing yourself, you can also change others. You must love to be able to change. Because love is powerful enough to be the reason of being the new you. 

   Change can be a great thing. Progress is impossible without change. It is because change is the law of life. Love to change. Change yourself first and by that you can change the the people around you, the things  around you and together you can change the world. When you begin to shift your perspective, the very things around you that seem to be so stressful tend to look a little brighter. We are living with problems. And in some situations may make you feel so down. But you can't change the situation yet you can change yourself in order to overcome that problem. If we don't change, we don't grow. If you want to be happy, or you want to be wise, you have to change continually. Change yourself first. Love yourself unconditionally. Accept who you are and be the real you. Don't fake anything. Value your life. When you love yourself, you will find it easier to love others and the world around you. 

   "When you let your self shine, the world realigns". everything in your life will flow naturally, because when you start with yourself, the world around you will change. You must be the one to enact the change that you need. You must be the one to take the first steps and welcome change.

BEGINNING.

   A new year just begun. And this time, you can see people doing their to-do-list for 2019. They are promising to their selves to be healthy and fit through out the year, go to an adventure with their favorite travel buddies, they are saying no to bad vibes and they will do some enjoying activities this 2019. People hoping that 2019 will be the year that can revived the sadness that they felt last year.

   Posts are captioned "New Year, New Me!", yes, it's this time of the year where New Year resolutions are made. But me, I just want to achieve that stress-free life this 2019. I will not put too much pressure on myself, I will just live in the moment. Life seems to go fast this 2019 so I just want to go with the flow, remember to live in the moment, not to think too far ahead, appreciate what I have, spend time with the people that matter and I will be myself at the hundred percent at all times. No bad vibes. Learn to accept yourself for who you are and just enjoy life.

Gained

     Months have past, another journey in my last year of being junior high school student will be done. This may be the second to the last quarter of school year 2018-2019 but I am so grateful to learn new things about Web design and HTML. In our section, we are truly enjoying, we are having fun gaining new knowledge in our subject ICT 10. But, we can't deny the fact that we are struggling sometimes in making our own web designs.

     Moving on, I promise myself that in my journey to the last grading period, I will show the best that I can give. I will face the challenges in this next and last quarter of my junior high school with great confident so that I can succeed. I will use the things that I’ve learned to develop a better practice. I hope and look forward to more exciting classes in this subject.

A Celebration with the Reason of this Season

     December is the month where the season of joy and peace is within. December is the month where Christ the King was born. December is the month that is full of excitement. Giving and receiving gifts, loving and forgiving human beings. That is the spirit of Christmas, being loved and sharing love. 

     Everyday, He is with us. Guiding us to avoid consequences, helping us to live the better life. December is the month where love was born. Appreciation for each and everyone will be shown during Christmas time. It's all about love, the essence of the season. Having a really good time with our loved ones, especially family and friends will be the most memorable thing that you did in this season. A season full of happiness, wherein we forget our problems temporarily because of the love that we feel from our loved ones, strangers, and above all, our Lord, Jesus Christ.

     The whole world is celebrating. Every person is showing love to one another. Peaceful season, we are enjoying. Cherish every moment that is full of happiness and excitement. Continue to love because it brings out the best in us. Celebrate the season because our Lord, Jesus Christ is the reason. Have a Merry Christmas!

Grasya ng Kinabukasan

    Ang mga bata ang pinamasayang grasya na naibigay sa isang tao. Sila ang nagsisislbing stress reliever natin dahil sa ligayang naihahatid nila sa mga taong nakapaligid sa kanila. Sila ang pag-asa ng susunod na henerasyon kaya hayaan natin silang maglaro, sumaya at matuto sa kanilang iba't- ibang kagustuhan. Huwag nating hayaan na lumaki ang bata na malungkot, na may pinaghuhugutang sakit. Bigyan natin sila ng oras at ibigay kung ano ang kanilang kagustuhan.

     "Isulong: Tamang Pag-aaruga para sa lahat ng Bata" ay ang tema ng Children's Month ng taong ito, 2018. Sa mismong tema nito, nais nitong ipahatid na alagaan sa mabuting paraan ang mga bata. Bigyan sila ng sapat na proteksiyon at pagmamahal ng sa gayon ay maramdaman na nila sa murang edad ang pagmamahal na galing sa mahal nila sa buhay. Iparamdam natin sa kanila ang kanilang importansya.      Technologies in this generation have a big role in human beings. Technologies already affected our lifestyle in a positive or negative way. The positive effect of these gadgets or technologies is they make our life easier, we can save time but the negative effect is it makes us lazy.

Technology or gadgets has been created to facilitate communication of every person, wherever you are. In this days, we can't deny the fact that gadgets play a huge role in our everyday life. And we should thank the inventor or the ones who innovated gadgets because the world became smaller, it is no longer difficult to be separated from our loved ones. But we should remember our limitations in using gadgets. If we didn't use these things correctly, it also make people apart. People also use gadget to harm other people. They bring down a person by posting or bashing them on the internet. So we must avoid to abuse the use of gadgets. 

     Gadgets are meant to help people and not to harm each other. Let us more be responsible in using these gadgets. Let us get connected with our families and friends using these gadgets. But remember to use it properly, use it responsibly.

     Reading is always been a source of knowledge. It is always a way of seeking wisdom and reality. Reading is also an instrument in understanding the meaning and significance of everything around us. We can't deny the fact that reading gives us happiness, it makes our life glorious.

     "Pagbasa: Susi sa Magandang Kinabukasan" is the theme of this year's Reading Month. In the way of reading, we can achieve the bright future. Not only in books or in the internet but we can also learn by reading instructions and rules. We can gain knowledge, we can have that bright future if we know to practice or use those lessons that we obtain in reading. Therefore, reading becomes a person's fullness because of having sufficient knowledge, happiness and enthusiasm in the development of himself or herself, his or her fellowmen and his or her society. With the help of reading, all the things that people need in this world are known or opened. 

     Reading is the recognition and acquisition of ideas and thought on printed symbols to be spoken verbally. It also focuses on the process of mentality. Reading also emphasizes the value obtained in each text read. In practicing the lessons we got from reading will be one of the reason of our success.

This grading, I got a lot of learnings about Internet Access and tags. I am thankful for this subject which is ICT because it gives me knowledge about technology. We all know that we are in the generation that everything is high-tech. Every time I enter the computer room in school, I am so glad because the lessons are just so fun to deal with. Some students say that the lessons of Grade 10 ICT is challenging but I think they just said that because they don't have the will to learn. In studying, you can gain a lot knowledge about things unless you don't have the will to learn.

Challenges goes harder and tougher when you go deeper. During this grading, I got some challenges and the hardest problem I experienced was self-doubt but I managed it. I told myself that if others can, I'm sure that I can do it also. You just have to gain confidence in order to proceed.

Moving on, I promise myself that in my journey to the next gradings, I will show the best that I can give. That I can exceed the all challenges that I will  be facing in my Grade 10 journey. I will end my  junior high school life with the sweetest and widest smile.

It's the time to celebrate the United Nations Month. It is the celebration about different cultures of countries coming from different continents. This year's theme is " Coming together with those furthest behind to build an inclusive world of universal respect for human rights and dignity". It's all about  respecting human beings by the unity of everyone. 

The theme is telling us that no one will left behind even though you are included in the furthest. Let us be a group to fight against poverty and human rights and also dignity.  Let us help everyone because we are just the ones who can help ourselves or one another. We are just humans who have physical differences and we also have different purposes in  lives. 

Respect each and everyone. Give respect to human rights;  That is the aim of the theme. It reminds us to respect the rights of individuals and also with dignity, as long as we are living in this world. 

Poor, rich, white, black, criminals, wise ones or what other characteristics you have, you have to show respect to your fellow men always. Show respect every second, every minute, every hour or every day in order for you to be respected too. " Human rights are gained at promoting human dignity"-- President  Rodrigo Duterte.

TEACHER: SUPERHUMAN

Every student has a dream, and their journey to that dream was driven by a hero. Every professionals can't be on that highest peak of a mountain if they didn't follow the way given by those heroes. A students life is not easy but thankfully they have a hero that gives the never ending love and guidance to be successful. The hero that never wear capes but I think we can call theme the greatest heroes. They share their knowledge, they give care on us and of course they are filling us with their love.

September to October 5, let us appreciate the hardworks of these heroes for fulfilling our minds with knowledge. Let us thank them for being there when our parents are not in our sides. This is the perfect time to say "Thank you teacher!" and  try to give back for the love, care and efforts they gave on us.

Back to the time we enter the school, teachers are always there to help us and they give instructions for us to grow and glow. Until now, they are still there and they also the ones who is proud in the achievements we got. They will never gets tired to complete us or they will never gets tired lighting our way to our dream destination which is our dreams.

We cant imagine this world without teachers. We will not having those successful doctors, engineers, lawyers, and other professionals without teacher. Those professionals gives a big help in our lives. Always appreciate their efforts, time, and sacrifices in giving us knowledge that can really helps us in our future. Wavefront: Accentuating Potentials, Activating Technological Advancements

The month of September comes and the National Science Club Month will be celebrated. " Wavefront: Accentuating Potentials, Activating Technological Advancements" is this year's theme. The theme is asking the youth especially students to show and be proud in the potentials that they have and to create new inventions in their own beautiful ways.

As years passes by, we can't deny that a lot of inventions or innovations let us live our lives easier. And because of that some individuals really need those things like they will end their lives if they won't have it. With the help of Michael Faraday's concept on electromagnetism, even more innovations are developed which furthermore help the people in their everyday life.

The little ideas in the minds of the youth should be put to reality and let it shine. This is one of the goals of this year's theme. This is why all students are encouraged to use their knowledge in activating inventions and innovations for the efficiency of life.

Through the theme, the youth are encouraged to continue creating technological developments in order to achieve a better life for everyone.

A nation beaten by so many storms and shaken by earthquakes but amidst of those disasters, Filipinos find reasons to smile, to love, to help, to save, and to care for their fellow countrymen. Philippines , a country comprised of islands, surrounded by bodies of water. The more than seven thousand islands of the Philippine territory are promised to have beauty and natural resources. However, despite these blessings, the country’s beautiful location is also cursed because it involves catastrophic disaster. Filipinos are challenged by disasters. And they are always have a strong heart to face those challenges. “You’re just a typhoon, we are Filipinos”, ‘You’re only an earthquake, we’re Filipinos”, “You’re only a volcanic eruption, we’re Filipinos”. Those are the words you can hear by Filipinos because they are the individuals that has a lot of reasons to smile despite of those disasters stuck in their nation. Amidst of those tragedies, you can see their smiles, their happiness because they have the spirit.

Disasters can not withstand the strength  and goodness of Filipinos. Life goes on. Disasters may destroy our world but not our lives, happiness. We always see opportunities. We continue to smile, to live and above all we unify. Filipinos are just smiling at those challenges. Bounce back and keep going.

GOOD BEGINNING THAT LEADS TO A BRIGHT FUTURE

It’s been two months since the school year began. Happiness and knowledge had been send to me by my classmates, friends, and especially teachers. Most of our time was spent in school. In that case, we have a lot of learnings and the subject ICT is just extraordinary.

No question. I have a lot of things that have learned in the subject of Information and Communications Technology. In this subject it allowed me to know untold informations about internet and blogging. I knew how this said lesson works and how it was started or created. In blogging, I was able to know its types and also its advantages. Blogging helped me to improve my communication and writing skills and it also helped me to boost my confidence. I had the ability to share my opinions either my ideas and it also allowed me to see others opinion.

In the journey of this grading I can’t avoid challenges. But I can find a way to minimize them. First challenge is making a draft or article. I am a person that is not really good in writing. I have the difficulty to compose a set of informations because I have no idea what to write. So, to steer clear of this challenge, before writing or making a draft, I should research some information or ask somebody what are the things that they know on the topic so that I can gain ideas on what to write. Second is time management. Because of the first problem, I can use a lot of time to finish just a one draft or article. I admit that I am easy to be distracted by anything around me but to avoid this, I will try to focus on only one thing. I will set a deadline for every activity or requirement so that I can minimize my  time to do things.

Moving on, I will use the things that I’ve learned to develop a better practice. I hope and look forward to more exciting classes.
